Take Doors
Seriously.
We take the work seriously. Ourselves, less so.
We're a Dayton-owned garage door company built on a simple idea: be honest, explain the problem, price it upfront, and fix what actually needs fixed.
Who We Are
MAN VS DOOR is a local, owner-operated garage door company based in Dayton and serving the Miami Valley. Why the new name? Apparently, you can't trademark “We Fix Garage Doors.” So we picked a fight instead. Same people, same upfront pricing, same “fix it, don't sell it” approach.
We handle the dramatic, loud, stuck, and emotionally unstable doors of Dayton homes and businesses every day. Broken springs, snapped cables, possessed openers, caved-in panels, brand-new installs, and big commercial roll-ups. Whatever the door is doing, we've probably seen it do worse.
What sets us apart isn't a secret. We show up when we say we will. We tell you what's actually wrong. We give you the price before we start. And the owner still comes out to check the work — one customer had us come back on a Sunday just to review a finished install.

We got a new garage door and opener and could not have been happier. The installers were polite and professional, cleaned everything up, and the owner even came out Sunday to review the job. The cost was about $800 less than quotes for just the door.

Showed up on time, got right to work, and cleaned up after themselves. Made my garage door like new again. Highly recommend.

Worked fast and efficient. On time, quick, respectful, and not hard on your pocket. My garage door hasn't worked better.
